ZenduCam - Troubleshooting an Offline Camera

What you should see is Green Power Light Only - Camera is working properly

Green WiFi Light - This will be on for the first 3 minutes the camera turns on and can also be activated by quickly pressing the button twice. This broadcasts a WiFi signal from the camera that allows you to connect into the camera settings via a mobile phone or laptop or a computer. This does not affect the camera's functionality.

If the Red Globe is lit - The camera does not have an internet connection. If this has worked before but suddenly stopped working, it could mean a few things:
      - the SIM card has become dislodged from its position in the camera. To check the SIM card within the camera, use the tool to open the door on the side of the camera. If the white SIM card is not seated properly, push it back in until you hear a click. It can take about 5 minutes for the Red Globe to go out, but you can unplug the camera device and plug it back in to re-boot the system.
      - the SIM card has been deactivated. Contact support@gotrackcam.com to check if the number is still active on your account.
      - the SIM card is defective. It will need to be replaced. Contact support@gotrackcam.com to have a new card shipped to you and follow these steps to install the new card in your camera: ZenduCam - Installing Replacement SD Cards / SIM Card

If the Green Power Light is not on, the camera is not receiving power, which could mean problems with the cable connections in three places:
      - The cable that comes from the camera has a connection point about a foot from the camera. This is usually tucked up inside the vehicle's headliner. Tug on this cable until you can see the connector and make sure it is secure.

      - The cable that connects the power box to the fuse wires has a connection point about 6 inches from the box. Make sure this connection is secure.

      - The ground wire (black), 12v constant wire (red), and ignition/accessory wire (orange) will be wired to the corresponding wires on the vehicle.

(some D+2 units only have 2 wires that are necessary for operation - constant and ground - it is motion activated and does not need the ignition/accessory wire)

If the connections are confirmed to be secure and the power light still does not come on, the unit could be water damaged or defective. Please contact support@gotrackcam.com for assistance.
