What the indicators lights should look like when the camera is working properly

If you are experiencing an issue with your camera not showing any activity on the portal we may ask you to check the status of the lights on the front panel of the camera.
When the camera is working properly the display will look like this in the first 3 minutes after the vehicle is started:



The  power on light on the left should always be on if the camera has power. The green wifi light will stay on for about 3 minutes and will then turn off and the display will look like this:



If the red globe is lit red that means that the camera is not connecting to the internet.  This may be caused by the SIM card not being seated properly in it slot. You can open the door on the right side of the camera with the small screwdriver that we supply with the camera. 


Make sure the SIM card is clicked into place in it's holder. If it is properly seated, you can carefully push on it will pop out of the holder.  Carefully push the SIM card in until it clicks in to reseat it.
Going through these basic troubleshooting steps will help determine what other steps may be needed to get the camera back online.
