IF you want to set up your cameras to be used as a WiFi HotSpot for drivers and in-vehicle clients, follow these steps to create a WiFi network and password for each of your vehicles.

You will need to download the Veyes app to be able to connect directly to the cameras.

Username: admin

Password: admin

IMPORTANT: Do not make any other adjustments to settings on any other page or you may lose your ability to remotely view the camera in your portal.

Click on the Preferences button on the top, the Network button on the left, the WIFI tab at the top to get to the set up screen.

Make sure these settings are correct/enabled:

Enable: AP

WIFI Mode: Auto

WIFI Setup

ESSID: (your network name that will be broadcast - make sure each name is unique to the vehicle)

Encryption: WPA

Password: (choose your own- 6 digit minimum)

Click the Enable Hotspot button.

Now anyone in your vehicle can connect to the camera's Network Name with their mobile device (as long as they have the password) and use your camera as a WiFi Hot Spot. It is your responsibility to ensure your Data Plan can accommodate the larger amounts of data transfer than what the camera itself uses.
