The camera icon must say “ON” in order to view the live camera. This includes vehicles with ignition on, or in their standby mode before shut down.
From your TrackCam map page, find the asset that you will view the live camera on.
There are several ways to get to the live camera for an
asset:
Then click on the “Live” tab.
Then click on the “Live” tab.
Then click on the “Live” tab.
From here, you will be able to see a live feed from the
installed cameras. Scroll down to see more camera feeds. Visible text on the camera feed provides
information about the time zone setting for the camera, the current date and
time, the Latitude/Longitude location, and the speed. The icon on the map will show you the
position of the asset and the direction it is traveling.
By clicking the settings icon in the upper right corner of
the video feed, you are able to make adjustments to be able to view the footage
better on your screen.
The icons at the bottom right of the video will allow you to adjust the volume or mute the sound, or go into full-screen mode.
You are also able to set your Stream timeout (default is 30 seconds) and refresh the stream after it stops.
However, be advised that there is a limit to the data transfer on each of the devices, and live streaming continuously will use up a large portion of your monthly data transfer limit. It is recommended that you use this function sparingly and only when necessary to check the cameras to ensure they are working properly, or if you have a specific reason to look in on a vehicle.
