New Customer Set-up (Version 4) Updated February 13, 2023
CSR’s will be cc'd when a welcome letter is sent to the new customer. This letter invites the customer to schedule their TrackCam training. As soon as CSR Team members receive this email, they should promptly complete the customer setup.
Geotab Portal Setup:
1. Open Creator and Geotab portals
2. Under Vehicles & Assets, verify vehicle names match between Creator and Geotab*
3. Under Vehicles & Assets, ensure that vehicles are showing VIN and Odometer readings
4. Under Administration, ensure that Users have been created
5. Under Rules & Groups>Rules, turn off all rules except Harsh Braking, Possible Collision, Unauthorized Device Removal
6. Under Map>Map, adjust Map View to customer’s location and save as ‘Local’
TrackCam Portal Setup:
1. Open TrackCam portal
2. Ensure TrackCam Beta Version is enabled (if not, contact Zenduit Support***)
3. Ensure TrackCam Power Off Wakeup is enabled** (if not, contact Zenduit Support***)
4. Under Maps, ensure vehicles showing as Moving or On are visible on the Geo map
Note: Any vehicle with a gray square in Beta is a problem. A gray square means that the device’s Power Off Wakeup is not enabled and/or the server setting is not correct. Contact Zenduit Support*** and have them ensure that Power Off Wakeup is enabled and that the device is on server-api.zenduit.com. If Zenduit Support has confirmed that Power Off Wakeup is enabled and that the device is on server-api.zenduit.com and there is still a problem, it may be a problem with a device mis-wire where the constant power wire has been tied to the ignition power. Schedule Installer to inspect install.
