Instructions for installing and using the SD card viewing software on the AD Plus 2
Video is stored on the SD card in your camera.
The SD card is located behind a door on the side of the camera.
**UPDATED** This is a new software to download:
After installing, open the app marked Local Player.
Once it opens, the app may automatically detect the MicroSD card in your card reader. If it does not, click on the open folder button to find the location of the card on your computer and set it as the directory for the app.
Now click on the camera serial under the Disk option on the left, and see the available days with recordings on the calendar underneath - any days with recordings will be marked with a red dot. Click on the day that you wish to see the video.
You will see the available recordings to the right on the timeline, represented by colored rectangles. Click on the time you wish to see the video and click the play button on the menu bar below the video screen to start the playback. **REMEMBER** The time indicated on the graph is in GMT/UTC time - Coordinated Universal Time - you will need to add the appropriate number of hours to the local time you're looking for to identify the correct timeframe on the graph. If you are unsure, play the video from any time on the graph and look at the top left corner to see what time zone the camera is set to, and then do the math that way.
Eastern Time (GMT -05:00) - add 5 hours (4 if it is Daylight Savings Time)
Central Time (GMT -06:00) - add 6 hours (5 if it is Daylight Savings Time)
Mountain Time (GMT -07:00) - add 7 hours (6 if it is Daylight Savings Time)
Pacific Time (GMT -08:00) - add 8 hours (7 if it is Daylight Savings Time)
To save the video, click the Export icon on the menu bar.
You will see a pop up window asking you to confirm the start and end time, and which channels to download. Make sure the Video Format is set to MP4, and choose where on your computer you want to save the file so you can easily find it. Click OK.
To see the progress of your download, click the Task Monitor icon on the top right corner of the app page:
You can see the status of your downloads here - once completed, you will be able to open them from within your assigned destination folder on your computer.
The files will be large, so if you need to send them to another individual, you can use the free weTransfer.com website to upload large files and send automatically, or copy a share link. It is free to sign up, but the share link for the files will expire after 3 days; you may need to re-upload your files to a new link.

Make sure to watch this video with instructions on using the software before trying to use the software:
(Please be aware that the times listed for the recordings are in UTC and you will have to do the conversion yourself.
For instance 23:00 UTC is 18:00 in the EST, but is 19:00 EDT.)
After downloading the software and inserting the SD card into the laptop. Open the CEIBA2 application where:
Type: Local
User: admin
Password: there is no password, keep it empty
Click OK to login
After logging in, select the serial number on the left side menu, in order to see the recording availability in a calendar layout.
Double click on the specific date on the calendar to the videos available within a day
When selecting a date, a timeline will be displayed where a blue bar will appear for each channel indicating the time and length at which the camera was recording. Click on the blue bar and click the play button to review footages.
In order to export footage, click on the scissors button and select start and end time at which the video will be exported and click OK.
In a new window that will appear, select the channels that you want to export, select format as MP4, select the path that you want to export the file to and select MainStream only as an option. After doing the former hit OK for completing the export.
