Geotab – How to Reset Your Password

Navigate to https://my.geotab.com/ in your browser.

Type in your username that was provided to you in your invitation email and click “Next”.


If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking on the “Forgot Password?” link beneath the username and password fields.


Alternately, you can simply navigate to http://my.geotab.com/resetPassword.html and follow the next steps.

(This will only be possible if your username is an email address.  If your username is your email address, ask your company Administrator to reset your password for you, or reach out to support@gotrackcam.com for assistance during regular business hours.)

Type in your username (Email) and click on the OK button at the bottom.  Database name is optional but can be helpful.


You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.  This link will only be valid for one hour. If your account has a lock-out period for log-in attempts, you may need to wait for the full lock-out period or contact your company Administrator to unlock you to be able to perform a password reset.

After clicking on the link, type in your new password and repeat it, then click Save.  Make sure your passwords match and follow your company’s password requirements.

Once you’re logged into Geotab, you can access your TrackCam portal by clicking on the “Add-Ins” menu option towards the bottom of the left side menu (you may have to scroll down to find it) and clicking “TrackCAM” on the drop down menu. (If using the old version of Geotab, scroll down towards the bottom of the menu and click the “TrackCAM” link directly on the menu.)
